Doom 3 Patch 1.3 is a game patch developed by Doom3 for the thrilling shooting game Doom 3. It has new updates bringing additional features to improve your gameplay. There are also minor fixes so the game operates smoother than before.
The patch includes updates on the PunkBuster software, which is responsible for detecting game cheats. It is also now compatible with Vista, although there may be instances when warning windows will suddenly appear. Just ignore and close them because the game will work nonetheless. The patch also fixed problems on the game’s LAN and internet players detection capabilities and ragdoll bounciness. It was also able to resolve the issue on PAK file downloads that are added without the game being restarted. These PAK files are now provided by the server and can be downloaded internally by clients. Other improvements will be observed with the gameplay itself such as accurate ammo counter and projectile launches. Single players and Multiplayer may be affected differently by the updates but there is nothing to worry about. There are a lot of improvements in the game and both playing modes will enjoy a smoother and better gameplay.
